The Fabergé Case.

The Fabergé Case, his most recent book, is being re-released by by Abrams Publishing this fall. It is a pictorial testament to his world-renowned collection of Fabergé cases and accessories, which is the largest of its kind in existance.

The Fabergé Case book contains 136 dazzling full color photographs of Traina's collection, which includes many of the finest handcrafted cases designed for Russian Czar Nicholas II. Additionally, the book offers readers an insightful journey into the history of Russia's House of Fabergé, with contributions from Fabergé expert Gezá Von Habsberg and State Hermitage Museum Director Mikhail Piotrovsky, and a candid essay from Traina's former wife, Danielle Steel on life with a passionate collector.

Noted primarily for its majestic, jeweled eggs, the House of Fabergé created many other dazzling works of art, including jewelry, animal miniatures, picture frames, clocks and especially cigaretter cases. Made from a wide variety of materials ranging from gold to gunmetal and decorated with a vast array of precious gems, a genuine Fabergé case in not only dazzlingly beautiful, but also meticulously crafted.
