Television Shows
Along with ABC, NBC and Cramer Productions, Mr. Traina developed and helped in the production of, and was the technical advisor to, numerous television shows, "Movies of the Week", and Miniseries. Works include:

Mr. Traina was also the Executive Producer of 6 Travel and Cruise documentaries to unique destinations. Mr. Traina chartered the cruise ship, The Pearl, through Spelling/Cramer Productions for "The Love Boat Goes to China".

Producer


Mr. Traina is a freelance producer and executive producer, Lampedusa Films L,L.C. He produced in 1999 "Salute" a series of cooking and travel shows for television. Mr. Traina is also an investor in Rivoli Pictures, and developed projects with the company.

John Traina has recently served as an advisor and has been producing and developing projects with San Francisco and Los Angeles-based Lampedusa Films L.L.C., including the pilot episode of the international cooking show "La Bella Vita", shot entirely in Sicily last year.  "La Bella Vita" features actor Vincent Schiavelli as host.  Vincent is best known for roles in "One Flew Over  the Cuckoo's Nest", "Ghost" and "Man in the Moon", as well as countless television shows over the years. Vincent recently won the James Beard award for fiction for his last cookbook, and he formerly hosted PBS' successful "Cucina Amore' series.  Lampedusa Films is developing further shows with Vincent, as well as additional food and travel programs for international syndication.  John Traina served as Executive Producer on "La Bella Vita" with partners Todd Traina and Panos Nicolaou as Producers.

Lampedusa Films also recently produced the award-winning independent feature "Stanley's Gig," starring William Sanderson, Marla Gibbs and Faye Dunaway.  "Stanley's Gig" premiered on the Starz! Network last summer to rave reviews.  Lampedusa Films is currently developing its next feature film projects, "America's Eagle," a golfing drama based on the life of Francis Ouimet and his sensational victory at the 1913 U.S. Open, and "The Woody", a contemporary comedy set in the Napa Valley.

Arts & Entertainment
Oakville Entertainment is a General Partnership formed last year for the purposes of developing film and entertainment related projects in Northern California.  The first venture of partners John Traina, Todd Traina and Trevor Traina was to join Uptown Theatre Group and Francis Coppola in purchasing, restoring and re-opening the famous art-deco Uptown Theater in downtown Napa.  The theater will open September 2003 and will serve as a leading venue for film, music and the arts in the burgeoning lower Valley area of Napa.
Author, John Traina, is a consummate collector and has one of the world's largest Fabergé collections. He is also a vintner, film producer, entrepreneur and father of nine.
